It’s déjà vu all over again! I will make a return appearance at the 6th edition of Art San Diego, showing the newest additions to my “Solace of Space” series. It’s been a very busy summer for the Goodmans! Our 2-week road trip through California, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico and Arizona to participate in Art Santa Fe 2014 was a wonderful experience but of course had a few snags — a bit of a starter problem that we couldn’t get it repaired until after the 4th of July Holiday weekend, so we were stranded at the very beginning of our trip until that Monday. Then, Shira got sick, so our time on the road didn’t start out being much fun. But she was much better by the time we got to Santa Fe, and we ended up having a great time. Santa Fe is a wonderful, artsy city, and my work received a warm welcome there. (READ MORE)

This is a new experience for us. Not only is Santa Fe, New Mexico a new venue for showing my art, but Shira and I are heading out on the road for a bit of adventure, site seeing and of course photography before arriving at ART Santa Fe 2014. (READ MORE)

I have been doing photography since my dad gave me my first camera when I was 9 years old. Since then, my love for this boundless visual art has just grown. By the time I was in my early 20’s, I had already established quite a portfolio of intriguing images from my numerous visits to Israel, including the haunting and beautiful faces of Palestinian men, women and children.(READ MORE)

There comes a time when an artist must expose himself (so to speak) to the world at large. To stand naked before the masses, a coming out of sorts. You could say that this is my coming out. After 47 years of experimentation, vision, hard work, personal growth, successes, failures and, literally, blood, sweat and tears, I stand naked before the masses…    (READ MORE)

Our ability to think clearly, critically and creatively is largely dependent on our will to create space for these processes to occur. In this world of over-saturated, in your face, and instantaneous image gratification, it is sometimes difficult to break away and separate our senses from the constant bombardment that we are assaulted with on a daily basis. (READ MORE)
